Personal Assistance Service (PAS)

PAS is Duke’s faculty/employee assistance program. Licensed professionals offer assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals for personal, work, and family problems. Services are available at no charge to Duke faculty, staff, and benefits’ eligible family members. 919-416-1727.

Chaplain Services
Chaplain services are available at all Duke Health hospitals 24/7. They provide spiritual and emotional support to people of all faiths and belief systems.

Duke Unicorn Bereavement 
The center provides individual grief counseling and bereavement support groups. 919-644-6869.

Critical Incident Response Program 
This high-acuity response team is available following disruptive events to provide consultations for leaders and mental and emotional support for team members. 919-416-1727.

988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
The lifeline provides 24/7 free and confidential support for people in distress as well as prevention and crisis resources. 988.

Hope4Healers Helpline
This 24/7 phone line provides mental health support for North Carolina health care and other professionals. 919-266-2002.
